Anders Egelrud, CEO at Fortum Värme is nominated to ”Mäktigast i Hållbarhetssverige” (most powerful man within sustainability work in Sweden). It is the magazine Miljöaktuellt that each year presents a list of people who are role models and sets the agenda pushing for sustainable development.
Anders is nominated for his leadership, working for climate change which includes construction of the new biomass-fueled heating plant KVV8. This is highlighted as a major proof of Fortum Värme’s way towards 100% renewable or recycled energy. The nomination says; ”For a proven persistence, patience and fighting spirit, especially when the financial instruments today make coal cheaper, and this Anders has shown that he has.”
