Each year, CIO Sweden together with Accenture, awarding a prize in the following categories; CIO of the Year, Project of the Year and Best Sustainable Projects of the Year. This year Open District Heating are one of the nominees in the category Best Sustainable Project. The winner is presented on the event CIO Awards, December 14 at Berns, Stockholm.
Thanks to the great attention that the concept created on the Swedish IT market Open District Heating are one of the nominated along with two other prominent companies. It is both nominees recommended by the industry and the jury’s own favorites working as a base for the nominations. Winners will then be chosen in a rigorous evaluation process that extends over more than half a year and finally appointed by a jury of professional board members, CEOs, CIOs, experts and researchers.
For each project that goes to the final, one or two representatives from each company are interviewed on the basis of the criteria; extent, value, complexity, level of innovation and sustainability. Open District Heating represents by Per Gullbrand, Fortum Värme.
Winner of last year CIO of the year was Klas Bendrik at Volvo Cars. Karolinska Institutet wan the price Project of the year and DD Innovation wan the price for Best sustainable project. Read more about this year’s event the nominees here.
